Kristopher “Kyle” McDill is a Project Manager at Mississippi State University’s Center for Cyber Education (CCE), where he leads statewide initiatives in AI, cybersecurity, and computer science education. In his role at CCE, Kyle serves as a campus leader in artificial intelligence, spearheading efforts to integrate both cloud-based and local AI models into teaching, learning, research, and outreach across K-12 and higher education contexts.

Kyle frequently designs and facilitates professional development workshops, interactive trainings, and dynamic presentations for K-12 educators, higher education faculty, and university staff. He specializes in creating hands-on educational experiences that cover robotics, 3D printing, cyber defense, and practical AI tool adoption for classroom and institutional settings. Kyle also works with students across all ages to understand and integrate ethical AI use.

Before joining the Center for Cyber Education, Kyle served as a Curriculum Writer at the Research and Curriculum Unit (RCU) at Mississippi State, where he authored and refined statewide career and technical education frameworks. His background in public education spans six years as a social studies and geography educator with Jackson Public Schools, followed by lecturing in World Regional Geography at Mississippi State University.

Kyle holds a Master of Science in Geosciences from Mississippi State University, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Jackson State University, and an Associate of Arts in Elementary Education from East Central Community College. Combining his background in curriculum design, geographical analysis, and technology integration, Kyle is dedicated to helping educators, students, and institutions navigate and lead in the evolving landscape of digital education.
